Summer 2008 - we flew into Beijing and spent 3 weeks in China before taking the Trans-Sbierian train firstly to Ulan Bataar in Mongolia and then on to Moscow. We spent 2 nights in a Mongolian ger and then it was a full 5 days and nights to get to Moscow! We would have loved to carry on and cross Europe on the train all the way to Stamford but unfortunately we had to go back to school and work!
