I last updated this site on Saturday, August 28, 2010 Book launch and signing!! On June 20th the book shop called Buy The Book in Stamford High Street is launching my books and I will be there to sign any books. I am SO excited! I hope that it goes well and everyone enjoys the books. My new book is finished! I have had a busy time over the past few months, including finishing my new book. He is crazy!!! It was really excellent and he was very funny and inspiring. He was one of the guys that raced against Jeremy Clarkson down the mountain. Watch him here!! Have a look on my Weather page for some photos taken around my house and town this week. Book News!! Another blog! Someone else has written a comment about my book. It seems they liked it. I am really pleased that so many people like it, especially people who aren't friends and family. Stamford Mercury came into school today and did an interview about the book and took some pictures. My book is now available to read on a website called www.lovewriting.co.uk CLICK HERE for my book! Amsterdam trip I went to Amsterdam just before Christmas. We took the ferry from Hull which was great. It was like a huge hotel and we went to the cinema on the way and on the way back. The cabin reminded me of the bunks on the Trans Sib. In Amsterdam we went to Anne Franks house which is now a museum and we went on a boat trip through the canals. Penpal update - new penpal called Willow in Tanzania! I have now over 50 penpals and Mummy has made a database to keep track of details! I hope that I won't have to keep up with writing to all of them. So far the ones I have got to know best are Vinu and BJ in Sri Lanka and Luke in Australia. I am also writing to Samantha in America and to a boy in Turkmenistan and to some other children in different countries in Africa. There's a map now on on My Penpal page showing where they all live. Mongolian and Russian pictures finally here! They are on My Travels page. Planet Defenders I have joined a group in school called Planet Defenders. We are trying to save energy and make people more aware of what they can do to save energy. We also want to earn stuff for our school like wind turbines and solar panels. Please support! You can earn us 100 leaves by completing an energy report that will tell you about how you use energy as well as earning us points. If you have time, click here to help us out. We are only a small school (67 pupils) so every point counts. The name of my school is Great Casterton Primary School. I have written a book!! Watch this space as there may be more news about that! It is called Water Source and I hope you will all enjoy it. It includes lots of locations of places I have been and also includes an original illustration by Ceski Goddard as well as original photos by Mummy. You can buy a copy of it by clicking on one of the buttons above. There are two versions. Version 1 is better quality (Blue button) with some colour pictures. Version 2 (white button) has thinner paper and black and white images only on the inside. Both versions have a colour cover. You can also download a copy for free! Please let me know what you think! New Penpals! I have new penpals! I have written to a boy in Sri Lanka called Vinu and I hope he will also become a penpal. It is really exciting to get letters and find out what other children are up to. Breaking penpal news! Yesterday I came home from school to find ELEVEN letters on the mat....all for me.....and all from boys and girls in Sri Lanka! I think I am going to be busy writing letters for a while! New feature on my website! I have decided to be brave and share some of my writing with everyone as my teacher says it is quite good. So there is a new page called My Poetry.
