Geocaching & kayaking around Stamford
Prince Will of Stamford! I got a Travel Bug and Buddy for Christmas. I have set him off on a mission to travel far and wide. He started his adventures in Stamford and made it all the way to Canada and into the United States but there has been no news of him since January so I think he has reached the end of his journey and been lost. Suddenly he has turned up again!! May 21st and he is back in Canada, north of Ontario! See the map below for full details. Well, it's approaching January 2nd and the first anniversary of Prince Will's adventure. Prince Will is now nearly 10,000 miles from his start point! On the 30th December he crossed over into New York State and is hopefully going to have an American adventure in 2011. July 16th 2010 - 5652.3 miles away from home!! Prince Will is now in Newfoundland and Labrador!
June 3rd 2010 - after a short visit to Norfolk Prince Will is now in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada! He's really travelling now! 
April 5th 2010 - near Coventry now. March 28th 2010 north again to the Cotswolds. March 9th 2010 - north again! To Sunbury on Thames! March 3rd 2010 - he is near Weymouth! Jan 31st 2010 - he is near Leicester! 32 miles so far from where he started! |
Geocaching - where we have found caches so far!
Recently (April 2011) we found our first river cache, combining kayaking as well as geocaching. We did some geocaching while we were on holiday in France. It's good because it takes you to places that you wouldn't normally visit.
