My Penpals
In 2008 I sent in a letter to a site called LetterMag. As a result I received hundreds of letters (not joking!) and I still get letters from new people. I keep in touch particularly with a friend in Sri Lanka (Vinu) - he was one of the earliest letters to arrive and I have written and emailed him ever since then.
