My Travels

I started camping with my mum in a campervan when I was really small. My mum crashed the campervan when we were going to Devon so then we had to get a tent. We camped in Devon, Wales, Cornwall and Canada. I first went abroad when I was 5 when we went to America, the Cook Islands, New Zealand and Australia. Since then I have been on day trips to Salzburg, Rome and Barcelona. I went to Paris for 3 days. We were one on of the first passengers on Oasis Hong Kong's service to Hong Kong. In 2007 we went to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. In 2008 we went to China and came home on the Trans Siberian train through Mongolia. We spent 2 days in a traditional Mongolian ger before continuing on the train to Moscow and flying home from there. Last year we went to Vietnam, nipped into Laos for a week and then returned to China.

October half term 2009

I've been on a short trip with my mum to the North-East. We visited Durham and climbed to the top of the cathedral tower (great views!) and then drove across the Northumberland National Park and across the border into Scotland! My first trip to Scotland! We then drove back past Ullswater in the Lake District which was also really beautiful. We need to go back for longer!

French Trip

At the end of March I went on a school residential trip to France. We took the ferry from Dover to Calais on Monday afternoon. Then we went to the Chateau de Broutel which is in the small town of Rue. On Tuesday we had a really fun day because we went to a market, a chocolate factory and a goat farm! The next day we went to Paris and we had lunch by the Eiffel Tower. On Thursday we went to the beach! Yay!! Then on Friday we had a tour of Rue before going home. All in all it was a really really enjoyable experience.
